The Storage Scale User Group is run by users, for users, and is independent of any single vendor. We are not a sales channel. We are also honest that meetings cost money to put on, and that the time, venues and refreshments are very often made possible by our sponsors. We are grateful to every organisation that has supported the group over the years.
The platform
IBM Storage Scale (formerly GPFS) is developed by IBM, whose engineers present at almost every meeting and give their time freely to the community.
